A new hotel has opened its doors in Calpe (Alicante). Suitopia is a new concept from Sol and Mar Suites Hotels. In it, L’Antic Colonial is present throughout, surprising guests with their original materials, like the coloured mosaics or the Linkfloor vinyl coverings for walls, specially designed for areas such as corridors and hallways and following the latest trends in design.
Suitopia has 200 suites and 32 double rooms on 29 floors, all of which have balconies with sensational views of the sea. Every detail has been taken care of in every room, every bathroom and every communal area such as the Market Place, Pool Bar, Sky Bar and Lobby Bar.
Metal, the star of the Lobby Bar
The Lobby Bar includes one of L’Antic Colonial’s most splendid mosaics: Metal Bronze 3D Cubes, a coppery toned metal mosaic whose shiny tiles reflect light and illuminate – even more if possible – a space where the purest white predominates.
Hotel decor with more personality thanks to Linkfloor
The most personal places in the hotel are the bedrooms, spaces which need to connect to their users and form a special bond to make them feel at home. Therefore in both the suites and the double rooms, Suitopia has used Linkfloor Wall Contract Zinc to cover the wall behind the bed.
In this way, the project takes advantage of all the qualities of this material from L’Antic Colonial such as its large format, its durability or its select style. There is a striking composition of colours to combine with the greyish tone of the Linkfloor in each room using blue, brown or lighter hues to give an individual atmosphere to each room.
Hotel decor | Design and functionality in the bathroom
No space has been left to chance in Suitopia. The bathrooms have also been designed to include style and functionality in the same measure. Delicate and intimate spaces taken as an opportunity to create a bond with their users. In this way, Suitopia has sought ingenuity and style by using the Gravity Aluminium Hexagon mosaic on the lavatory walls in the entrance hall.
This mosaic comes in three different shades which have been used to decorate the hall lavatories. Thus, the female, male and disabled toilets have been carefully crafted into areas with their own character using Rose Gold, and Metal, respectively.
A new concept in tourist and family lodging with maximum comfort and carefully chosen materials in the heart of the Mediterranean, with some of the best beaches and coves of the Spanish Levantine coast and surrounded by natural habitats like the Peñon de Ifach (The Ifach Rock), the Salinas de Calpe (salt plains of Calpe) and the Sierra de Oltá (the Oltá mountains).
A project on clear and definite lines, in which the wide range from the Porcelanosa Group and L’Antic Colonial, has made possible a supreme symbiosis of quality and materials.
