We are aware that natural wood is a renewable and sustainable product which means the best choice for an “eco-home”. That is why, at L’Antic, we only use wood from sustainable forests and controlled forested areas where many more trees are grown than cut down. In this way we can ensure the constant creation of new green spaces while reducing the negative effects of carbon dioxide on the atmosphere.
Therefore, all woods from L’Antic Colonial have an FSC ® (FSC-C028812) or PEFC seal, both referring to sustainable forest care for achieving optimum management of the environment. In so doing, we can work the natural wood as a renewable, raw material, with the certitude that this material comes from rationally-felled forests.
Nowadays, the popularity of natural wood floors has increased considerably, which has led to greater consumption of this raw material. In parallel, the commitment to the environment by the companies manufacturing these floors has also been strengthened.
