L’Antic Colonial, as a company committed to forest sustainability, has been awarded distinguished RER recognition (Red de Entidades Responsables con la Sostenibilidad Forestal) by PEFC, one of the organisations responsible for forest certification in Spain, The Company has therefore become part of the Network of Responsible Organisations for Sustainability of Forests.
This recognition was awarded by Ana Belén Noriega, Secretary General of PEFC Spain, to Mauricio Inglada, Director of L’Antic Colonial at the “Sustainable Spanish companies: from local wood to export markets” conference part of the Maderalia Selección trade fair held in Valencia from 10th to 12th February.
The RER award confirms L’Antic Colonial’s commitment to responsible production and purchase of certified natural wood products from sustainable forests; a commitment that the company, owned by the Porcelanosa Group, has maintained from the very beginning. All the natural wood in their current catalogue has sustainable origin certification in accordance with PEFC or FSC.
