• The L’Antic Colonial web application helps to show the textures and colors of their natural collections and the aesthetic possibilities of each design.
• Architects Ramón Esteve and Fran Silvestre, among others, showed the creations they have made with this app at the Porcelanosa store in Valencia.
• Fran Silvestre: “Moodboard helps to have a clear combination of materials from the beginning”
Attentive to the technological advances and digital resources offered by the new communication channels, L’Antic Colonial has developed the Moodboard app. This free use web application allows you to know the textures, colors and uses of each natural material in their catalog.
In order to show, guide and provide access to their collections to interior designers, architects, designers and other professionals in the industry, different templates have been created for all users of this application to discover, test and combine the woods, natural stones and mosaics in a given project.
A web 2.0 sensory-based tool
Coinciding with the Hábitat Fair in Valencia, Antic Colonial presented Moodboard at the Porcelanosa store in Valencia (Calle Colón, 58), bringing together some of the most renowned architects and designers in the Valencian Community: Fran Silvestre, Ramón Esteve, the Yonoh studio, Jorge Herrera Studio, Cosín Estudio y Estudi{H}ac.
“As each project has specific needs, architects are always looking for new formulas and materials. That’s why new technologies improve not only people’s lives, but the way we work and treat each piece. To innovate is always to improve the experience and the established tradition”, points out Fran Silvestre, for whom this app “will allow us to see the proposal of the materials chosen for a specific space and all the possible combinations that can be made with the collections from L’Antic Colonial“.
All the creations made by the invited professionals were exhibited in the MoodBoard Revolution exhibition. Among them. GentleNight, from Estudi{H}ac. “We were inspired by a winter evening. In it, an elegant broker finishes his intense day’s work in Chicago and passes by his select fish market. There he will buy a sea bass to bake in his new loft with the wood and natural stone as main materials”, describe in full detail José Manuel Ferrero and Ana Moix, members of this studio.
