Everyday materials have a place in your house too. At Wood Lovers we believe that we have the ability to change any object made from real wood into a new decorative element in your home. How? DIY. The magic of Doing It Yourself is that you become your own interior designer. By using the elements and materials that you want to use you can discover your most creative side and flood your house with style with these original and economical ideas we have for you.

Pallets: From box to sofa

Pallets, a material usually used in construction but not difficult to find, can give a rustic touch to any room in the house. An element which, although not originally designed for decoration, proves very versatile when used in living rooms, bedrooms or even on patios if you dare.

Don’t lose your head

Don’t waste the opportunity to decorate the head of your bed. Although wood is often associated with a rustic or homely style, it is possible to use real wood in a minimalist way as well. Find yourself a set of wooden slats, adapt them to the width of your bed and use them as a headboard. Depending on the type of paint you use on them, the result can vary from a more sombre style in pale hues to a very colourful and original one. And if you really want to go for it, painting them in different shades of a colour and the rest of the room in white is a sure hit.

Reinvent your spaces

You only need a wooden box and patterned paper to renovate that little corner of your home which previously went unnoticed. Build your own shelves with wooden boxes which deserve a second chance and decorate them using patterned paper which suits your house. Combine them however you like, either as hanging shelves or stacked up to give you more space for storage. The possibilities are endless.
