Over the last few years, wood has been a must in the interior of our homes. This noble material gives warmth and great comfort to every corner of our house. The success of the Nordic style means wood is the main event and can be adapted to any surface: floors, walls, furniture… Everything goes and everything can be adapted to this very fashionable material. You can also find wood in decorative objects and accessories and wooden crates are a fine example of this.
Until a few years ago, boxes were considered mere storage items and nobody took any notice of them, but nowadays, wooden crates are the real kings of decor as there incredible versatility means our imagination is able to run wild and our creativity can be let loose on our interiors.
One of their most widespread uses is as shelves. It’s simple. All you have to do is to hang them from the walls in whatever way you want. There are other even more original uses for wooden crates. One of the ones we most like is to use them as bedside tables. We love the natural and eco-friendly touch it gives the bedroom and the ease with which they blend into a neutral and comfortable decor.
We can also construct wooden shelving to our taste using wooden crates. We can paint them in the colour we want or leave them ‘au naturel’ and create a puzzle-like piece as a perfect item of furniture for any bedroom or even for the living room.
By combining boxes we can build all kinds of furniture and use them for whatever we want. In the garden as side tables or even as desks… wooden crates give us endless possibilities to create and innovate in our homes and furthermore the result is always excellent.
