CASA ELENA - L'Antic colonial

Casa Elena

YEAR: 2008-2010

Elena House is a cross-shaped floor single family residence situated on the outskirts ofToledo. It is an area characterized by topography with lots of movement, as it is located on a mid-sloped hillside oriented North-West.

The house is set on the plot with the aim of dividing the property in several areas, clearly differentiated by their character and role. In the access area we find a set of Italian stairs, the driveway, and an accompanying garden that respects the existing woodland. In the East side of the plot we find the kitchen garden, which has also been designed respecting the original woodland. Finally, in the front, two platforms are established: one with the pool and a grass lawn, and another intended for growing vegetables.

The rooms in the house have been distributed in three wings that correspond, depending on their roles, to day, night, and service areas. Inside we find many L’Antic Colonial elements such as the Foro and Duomo basins, both made with White Almeria marble, a bush-hammered granite countertop, L´Antic Colonial’s Oak Ebony 1 Board flooring in the bedrooms, or the white Calacata marble and Java granite flooring in communal areas.

Other Porcelanosa Group elements in the residence include the Pal taps from Noken, Porcelanosa’s Silver Blue ceramic flooring, and the kitchen furniture models G500 and G580 from Gamadecor.
