The architects Jorge and Jaime Martínez Villar have carried out the renovation of the restaurant El Gordo y El Flaco, located in the Valencian town of Bétera.
New needs arose after switching premises in 2017, to which the VIMARVI firm provides solutions in this project.
The main objective in the renovation of this space was to combine looks and functionality. To do so, a new independent building is built, with large windows that allow light to be used as much as possible.
The store has a main hall in its interior, which houses the bar, two private lounges, and a temperature-controlled cellar.
L’Antic Colonial’s Linkfloor Contract has been used in the lounges, both on the floor and walls; it is an excellent material for the hotel industry due to its great resistance to abrasion, humidity, and stains.
The Cotton reference has been used in this case, which stands out for its versatility and high quality; it is the Linkfloor modality chosen for this innovative space of almost 200 m2.
