The XL/xs exhibition was inaugurated at the Espai Rambleta in Valencia on February 12. It is a space that brings together some of the most iconic designs from recent years, in order to show and document the valuable contribution of architecture to the world of design.
Names such as A-cero, Álvaro Siza, Benedetta Tagliabue, Richard Rogers, Patricia Urquiola or Rafael Marquina, among many others, have wanted to participate hand in hand with the most important companies, among which L’Antic Colonial and Porcelanosa Group were of course included. All this under Ramón Esteve’s leadership, curator of the exhibition who, together with a Committee created by specialists, has been able to achieve a meticulous selection of pieces.
In this extremely interesting exhibition, L’Antic Colonial has wanted to collaborate by supplying the Spirit II washbasin in A-cero Gloss finish along with the Spirit II Intense Oak cabinet and the Spirit II mirror. These are designs that belong to the Spirit line, carried out by the Joaquín Torres and Rafael Llamazares firm. This line was L’Antic Colonial’s first collaboration with an architectural firm and meant an ultimate change in the firm’s conception of accessories.
The other Porcelanosa Group firm that has participated in XL/xs has been Noken with its Mood line. Designed by Rogers Stik Harbour + Partners and Luis Vidal + Architects, Mood combines a new generation material like Krion® with ceramics. This avant-garde bathroom line also incorporates efficient taps that make it easy to control the temperature and the flow of the water, for a more eco-intelligent use.
The exhibition will remain open until March 12 at the Espai Rambleta, Bulevar Sur on the corner of Calle de Pío IX (Sant Marcel·lí), with free admission and the following opening hours:
Tuesday to Friday: 4:30 pm – 8:30 pm.
Weekends: 11:30 am – 2:00 pm and 4:30 pm – 8:30 pm.
