Art and fashion unite in the new Uterqüe store concept in Portugal, specifically in the city of Braga. This store was inaugurated at the end of last year, representing a minimalist style inspired by the Mid-Century trend that emerged in the 50s. L’Antic Colonial materials have been used in some of its elements to transmit this organic and restrained space concept.
The brand has already committed itself to L’Antic Colonial’s high-quality products in stores throughout the world with the intention of providing each of its spaces, which follow a similar conceptual line every case, with great character.
Natural stone, specifically limestone, has been put into value at this store located in Braga. Its finish, color, and touch have been the determining characteristics for choosing this material. As we can see, neutral tones predominate in the space, creating a soft and pleasant setting.
In particular, we can see how stone is used in the flooring and for covering the store’s shelves. In the first case, L’Antic Colonial has made a custom format for the Uterqüe store, with measurements of 100x100x2 cm in the Amsterdam Grey Sand stone, which covers the entire store floor.
On the other hand, the shelves have been covered with Amsterdam Beige Classico, adapting the cut of each piece in relation to the measurements of the shelves to be covered. This is possible thanks to the custom cut offered by L’Antic, which is a great advantage for the user due to the increase in options that it achieves.
